Life Coaching

Why Life Coaching

Life coaching is for anyone who wants to improve some aspect of their life. It is the practice of helping clients focus on the present and future to determine and achieve their goals.

Life coaching can be a powerful engine for personal change and self development. It is an increasingly popular tool for supporting personal and professional development.

It's a powerful, enabling and empowering process. Coaching helps individuals identify personal or professional ambitions, helping them develop action plans to achieve them.

Life coaching is a technique that helps you gain insight and change in your life and uncover and eliminate destructive behavioural patterns holding back your personal development.

It is a practical tool which will help you to achieve the progression from where you are now, to where you would like to be in the future.

Setting and achieving your personal goals

Life coaching is about setting and achieving realistic goals that will change your life for the better helping you move forward in your life.

It is a partnership between you and your life coach which encourages you to explore how to make positive changes in your life.

Life coaching is a professional, one to one, empathetic relationship where you are encouraged, within a structured framework, to re-think and re-define your goals, requirements and ambitions in either a specific area of your life or as an overall life-planning exercise.

The objective is to create a strategy and plan to help achieve these ambitions and goals within an agreed and determined time frame.

Working with your Life Coach

Your life coach will help you define and establish these goals and set a plan to achieve them. The skill and practice of a Life Coach is to empower a person to find the answers within themselves.

Life coaching is a solution based process, concerned with empowering a person or an organisation to achieve their goals, reach their full potential and ultimately to be the best they can possibly be.

A life coach is able to offer support and feedback and be there to help you stay focused on your goals.

When choosing a life coach it is reassuring to know that they work to certain standards of good practice. Those who have accreditation/membership with a professional body work to strict guidelines and ethics.
